This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and booking modifications are handled by Shacon Hotels & Apartments for all stays at our hotels, guesthouses, and serviced apartments.
By making a booking or using our services, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Policy
Bookings at Shacon Hotels & Apartments are confirmed only upon successful payment or confirmation via our team.

2. Cancellation Policy
a) Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Check-In
Cancellations made within 24 hours before the check-in time are non-refundable.
b) Cancellations 24–72 Hours Before Check-In
Cancellations made 24 to 72 hours before check-in may receive a 50% refund, depending on room availability and booking conditions.
c) Cancellations More Than 72 Hours Before Check-In
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to check-in are eligible for a full refund, minus any payment gateway charges.
3. No-Show Policy
If a guest does not arrive without prior cancellation:
- The booking amount is non-refundable.
- The room or apartment may be allocated to another guest after the expected check-in window.
4. Early Check-Out
If a guest checks out earlier than the booked duration:
- Refunds are not applicable for unused nights.
- Under special circumstances, partial adjustment may be considered at management’s discretion.
5. Date Changes & Modifications
Guests may request to modify their stay dates based on availability.
- Date changes made 72+ hours before arrival are free of charge.
- Changes made within 72 hours are subject to room availability and price differences.
- If the modified dates are at higher pricing, the guest will be required to pay the difference.
6. Refund Processing Time
Eligible refunds will be processed within:
- 5–7 business days for UPI, wallets, or domestic transfers
- 7–10 business days for credit/debit card payments
- 10–12 business days for international payments
Refunds are issued through the original mode of payment only.
7. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain promotional rates, discounted bookings, long-stay deals, and last-minute reservations may be labeled non-refundable.
In these cases, no refunds or modifications are permitted.
8. Group Bookings
For group reservations (3 rooms or more):
- A 50% advance is mandatory.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
- Date changes are subject to availability and rate changes.
9. Situations Beyond Control
In case of events such as:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemic-related disruptions
- Unexpected hotel closure
Shacon Hotels & Apartments may offer:
- A free date change, or
- A full credit voucher valid for 6 months
Refund in such rare cases will be at management’s discretion.
